    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role within the FP&A team, primarily supporting the Investments division within Allspring.  The role will provide business analysis, forecasting/budgeting, reporting, data modeling, projects, and presentations to support the financials of the Investments division as well as support incentive compensation planning and processing. Strong collaboration and communication with team members, business partners, and stakeholders within Finance, Accounting, Investments and Human Resources is a critical component to success in this role. There are significant opportunities to support, develop, and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness for the finance team and the company. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Location(s): Charlotte, NC</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports/variance analysis, review packages, and other ad hoc requests as liaison to the Investments division within Allspring.</li>\n <li>Assist with the annual budget and forecast process, model preparation and submission, and completion of presentation packages.</li>\n <li>Prepare support for monthly accruals, journal entries and other analyses as part of the monthly accounting close.</li>\n <li>Track project spending and assist with cost benefit analysis.</li>\n <li>Support Incentive Team incentive compensation budgeting, forecasting and modeling throughout the year.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Finance team members and key business partners within Investments and Human Resources</li>\n <li>Support a culture of expense discipline and continual improvement in operational efficiencies</li>\n <li>Present as credible, confident and capable in all interactions</li>\n <li>Protect operations by maintaining strict confidentiality of company financial information.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting, analytics/modeling and reporting, preferably within the Asset Management industry</li>\n <li>Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present financial analysis to management.</li>\n <li>Experience with Oracle EPM suite and Smart View/Essbase is required.</li>\n <li>Strong technical skills with MS Office suite – primarily advanced Excel (vlookup’s, pivot tables) and PowerPoint</li>\n <li>Self-motivated, independent, flexible, adaptable in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment </li>\n <li>Experience with expense, cost benefit analysis on projects/initiatives</li>\n <li>Outstanding written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills </li>\n <li>Ability and willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and achieve results. Must be willing to get into the details.</li>\n <li>Remain in stationary position for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Operate computer programs and software</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats</li>\n <li>Day-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or public)</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Please note</strong></em><em>: This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
