We are proud to be formally recognized with industry and ministerial awards for innovation and environmental stewardship, while managing long-term contracts within both provincial and federal jurisdictions.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking to hire an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Heavy-Duty Mechanic</span> to inspect, service, and maintain our fleet of heavy-duty on road and off-road equipment in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Grimshaw, Alberta</span>. Apprentices are encouraged to apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To ensure success as a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Heavy-Duty Mechanic</span>, you should have proven experience working on off-road and on road equipment, be physically fit, and be able to troubleshoot issues at hand. Ultimately, a top-notch Heavy Duty Mechanic can repair and service even the biggest machinery with expert care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspecting trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment, in a fleet environment, for proper performance.</li>\n<li>Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment.</li>\n<li>Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.</li>\n<li>Repairing damaged equipment parts.</li>\n<li>Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty and automotive vehicles.</li>\n<li>Repairing and servicing machine attachments.</li>\n<li>Performing major repair work when necessary.</li>\n<li>Consulting with other Mechanics and Supervisor when needed.</li>\n<li>Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.</li>\n<li>Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Skills and Experience:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>\n<li>Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Apprenticeship Documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.</li>\n<li>Understanding of computer testing technologies.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic &amp; electrical systems, and construction equipment.</li>\n<li>Must have a Class 5 driver’s license at minimum.</li>\n<li>CVIP license preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to work after-hours if required.</li>\n<li>Good communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We encourage all who are qualified and interested to apply in confidence; however, only those in consideration will be contacted.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Relocation assistance will be provided on a case-by-case basis.</p>",
