Field Engineers ensure the job stays on schedule and provide support to Operations and Project Managers. Organization, flexibility, outstanding customer focus, strong communication, and ability to multitask are important in performing duties of this project/field-based role. This position is critical to the success of Harrison Western. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Supports operations/crews in the installation of work activities by assisting in the understanding of drawings and specifications.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Perform on-site QA/QC including testing and sampling.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Participate in site investigations, project handoff and start-up, update, and closeout meetings as needed.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Assist Project Manager in creating, updating, and utilizing schedule information to help determine required materials, subcontractor scheduling, staffing, and other aspects of project management.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Help in preparing, organizing, and coordinating RFI, submittal, and invoicing documents related to assigned scope of work.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Inventory, organize, procure, and maintain materials and tooling for work activities.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Assist in determining pricing options for potential change orders.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Assist Estimating department in plan take offs, spec review, cost gathering, preparation of estimates and proposals.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Assist new bidding opportunities, research plans for potential opportunities.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Perform archive filing and historical cost data gathering.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Performs other duties as assigned.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Organization, flexibility, outstanding customer focus, strong communication, and ability to multitask are critical in performing duties of this project/field-based role which include but are not limited to. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Thorough understanding of specifications, drawings, and job requirements for projects, or portions of projects assigned. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Inventory, organize, procure, and maintain materials and tooling for work activities.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Extensive travel and presence at different jobsites throughout the United States required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Detail oriented sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Applicable mathematical skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Proven positive and professional attitude</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Strong customer service and multi-tasking skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Current driver’s license</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screening</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Travel required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Proficient in MS Word, Excel required.
