    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Intertek Certified Building Products Inspector – Part time – Massachusetts and surrounding area of US</strong></p><p>Intertek is searching for an&nbsp;<strong>Intertek Certified Building Products Inspector</strong>&nbsp;to join our Building &amp; Construction&nbsp;team in <strong>Massachusetts and surrounding area of US</strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p><p>The&nbsp;Building &amp; Construction Product Inspector is responsible performing inspections at manufacturing facilities to ensure that products are being manufactured in accordance with established materials, processes, and documented production requirements.</p><p>This position offers candidates a <strong>flexible work schedule</strong> &amp; <strong>the ability to work from home and at client locations.</strong></p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p><strong>The base wage or salary range for this position is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.</strong></p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul><li>Document manufacturer’s production and quality processes in an Initial Factory Assessment (IFA)</li><li>Review required production tests, including methods, equipment used and calibration of equipment</li><li>Inspect Intertek Listed products, subassemblies and components with respect to Certification Documents to determine compliance with the certification documents created based on tested products</li><li>Review Intertek label inventory and control for proper usage of the marks and security of the marks</li><li>Review non-compliances issued as a result of previous inspections and document those unresolved</li><li>Select samples as directed in the Certification Documents</li><li>Compile and document compliances and non-compliances and advise client on proper resolution</li><li>Communicate information between facility representatives and Intertek personnel.</li><li>Complete and submit Follow-Up Service Inspection Report</li><li>Perform other duties as required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED and 10+ years directly related experience; Associates Degree in related area and 5+ years directly related experience; or Bachelor’s Degree in related area and 1+ year directly related experience</li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes</li><li>Knowledge of building products or construction methods</li><li>Knowledge of Quality Control methods (ISO 9000/14000, QS 9000, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen &amp; Statistical Process Control) a plus</li><li>Must&nbsp;have access to the internet</li><li>Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)</li><li>Ability to travel as business needs dictate</li><li>Must have strong computer skills</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Requrements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds</li><li>Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time</li><li>Ability to read small print with or without corrective lenses</li><li>Ability to climb stairs and ladders</li><li>Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time during the daytime and evening hours</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
