          "text": "<p><strong>The Opportunity:&#xa0;</strong></p><p>At Mattel, we pride ourselves on providing unique play experiences that stimulate growth and development, striving to unleash the creative potential of everyone.</p><p>The ideal candidate will bring to the Toy Design team his or her creativity and good control of the tools of an industrial designer.&#xa0; The chosen candidate will also be excited about the toy and committed to achieving extraordinary results in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.</p><p>Under the responsibility of the Manager, Product Design, the Product Designer will be responsible for the development of Construction Toys, from ideation to production follow-up, including the delivery of complete technical production specifications. The Product Designer partners with the Graphics, Engineering and Marketing Teams.</p><p><strong>What Your Impact Will Be:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Ideation of new construction toys concepts;</li><li>Carry out activities related to product development: sketches, block constructions, formal and functional research, definition of decorations &amp; colors, etc.;</li><li>Develop a high level of knowledge of licensed properties;</li><li>Realize 3D study models (mock-ups and prototypes);</li><li>Create presentation images &amp; product submissions;</li><li>Participate in the cost and feasibility analysis of products;</li><li>Development of new 3D parts that can be integrated into the system, ready for injection;</li><li>Plan &amp; generate images for the assembly of instruction booklets;</li><li>Work in close collaboration with other departments including Engineers, Project Managers, Brand Managers, Graphic Designers and others;</li><li>Introduce and communicate the various concepts in formal presentations.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>What We’re Looking For:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li><em>DEC </em>or Bachelor in Industrial Design or equivalent experience;</li><li>0 to 3 years of relevant experience;</li><li>Passionate about design and interest in the construction toy industry;</li><li>Mastering hand sketching &amp; model making;</li><li>Great project presentation skills;</li><li>Initiative and teamwork skills;</li><li>Creativity and resourcefulness in finding solutions;</li><li>Possess a great attention to detail and aesthetics;</li><li>Have the will to improve, to learn and to evolve;&#xa0;</li><li>Respect deadlines &amp; control the product's budget;</li><li>Be a powerful user of 3D-2D software, (SolidWorks, C4D, Adobe Suite...);</li><li>Knowledge of plastics - an asset;</li><li>Interest &amp; knowledge of pop culture, video games, figurine collection, cinema;</li><li>Comfortable in French; English is an asset.</li><li>Demonstrated a&#xa0;growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.</li></ul><p><strong>Include your portfolio!</strong></p>",
