    "description": "<p>Weisinger Incorporated is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver to support our Willis location.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Responsible to perform or assists in performance of moving, hauling, loading and transporting materials, supplies and equipment in a manner to achieve optimal safety, efficiency, quality, reliability, staff morale and teamwork by performing the duties listed in the following section. Support company-wide efforts which involve multiple duties and functions on a daily and long-term basis.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong>The following list includes essential duties and responsibilities. Perform all activities in accordance with all policies, principles, and procedures established by the Company.</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Review maintenance of winch trucks, haul trucks, trailers and supporting equipment (including backhoes, forklifts, pickup trucks, etc.) before, during and after shift.</li>\r\n\t<li>Leave equipment in clean, operable condition.&nbsp;<strong><em><u>Immediately</u></em></strong>&nbsp;report&nbsp;<strong><em><u>all</u></em></strong>&nbsp;maintenance repair issues to Transportation and Logistics Manager or Supervisor-in-Training, which includes asking to have broken tools repaired/replaced. Discontinue use of broken items,and dispose of broken tools that cannot be repaired.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist mechanics with basic maintenance of trucks &ndash; specifically with performing oil changes every 10,000 miles or 3 months.</li>\r\n\t<li>Comply with all Texas Department of Transportation rules and regulations including but not limited to 37 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 4. This includes but isn&rsquo;t limited to maintaining driver&rsquo;s log book, completing pre-trip inspections, observing safety laws, abiding by weight limits, and checking for current registrations on trucks and trailers</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete Driver Vehicle inspection reports.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure that all receipts, bills of lading and shipment tickets are submitted to appropriate departmental manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>Load and rig up equipment to ensuring that the load is balanced.</li>\r\n\t<li>Willingness to stay overnight, in a company-provided motel, should the need arise</li>\r\n\t<li>Use handling tools such as tongs and wrenches.</li>\r\n\t<li>Store and care for all tools, spare parts, equipment, materials, and supplies.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform basic housekeeping including disposing of garbage; cleaning and organizing the interior and exterior of vehicles, equipment, parking areas and employee lockers before, during and after shift.</li>\r\n\t<li>Park equipment and vehicles are parked in their assigned place.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow all safety regulations, policies, principles and procedures, which includes all Texas Department of Transportation rules and regulations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Use all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Immediately notify supervisor about injuries to self or crew members.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to conduct a &ldquo;root cause&rdquo; analysis</li>\r\n\t<li>Must carry and be available by a Weisinger Incorporated-assigned phone and be readily available to report to work as needed on a regular and emergency basis.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform other duties as assigned, which may include working in another role or in another department as needed</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Successfully pass a background check, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy</li>\r\n\t<li>Valid U.S. Driver&#39;s License required</li>\r\n\t<li>Successfully pass pre-employment drug test and physical, depending on position</li>\r\n\t<li>Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9 and E-Verify).
