Position Summary :
The Mechanical Service Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 5–6 sales professionals, supporting MEP estimating and project management efforts, and cultivating new customer relationships and business opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of mechanical systems and service sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5–6 service sales representatives.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.
Assist with mechanical estimating and project management for service and retrofit projects.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and customer relationships.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical service sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical estimating, and project management.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
