As the only academic medical center in Oregon, we have a collaborative relationship with primary care and subspecialty providers across the state and Pacific Northwest. Specialized expertise in GI psychology will be applied in diagnosis and treatment, given the profound interrelationship between GI symptomatology and mental health, and the direct impact of pharmacologic neuromodulation on gut function. This Psychology position will be fully embedded within the GI division with an expectation of and opportunities for division-specific conference attendance, presentations at local and regional meetings and collaboration with national GI psych experts. Required Qualifications Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in Psychology, supervised experience, and passing the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) Strong preference for those having completed additional training in chronic illness management/consult liaison psychiatry/cognitive behavioral therapy and/or acceptance and commitment therapy Preferred Qualifications Candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences are highly encouraged to apply Why apply to OHSU? We are Oregon's only public academic health center. In addition to caring for patients, we lead groundbreaking research. We also train the next generation of health care professionals.
