Reporting to the Global Finance Director, this role partners closely with project delivery teams to ensure financial insight, reforecasting, and resource planning support high-quality delivery and informed decision-making.</p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">FP&amp;A, Forecasting &amp; Financial Planning</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the preparation and consolidation of organization-wide forecasts and financial plans, supporting annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles.</li>\n<li>Own and maintain financial models and tools used for forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance tracking.</li>\n<li>Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying drivers, trends, and risks, and communicating insights clearly to leadership.</li>\n<li>Support senior finance leadership with forward-looking analysis to inform planning and prioritization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Project Finance &amp; Portfolio Oversight</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee financial performance across a portfolio of projects, providing guidance to project and program teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.</li>\n<li>Support project leaders with reforecasting, staffing assumptions, and cost management to address emerging delivery risks.</li>\n<li>Ensure financial planning and analysis appropriately reflect donor and contract constraints, coordinating closely with Grants &amp; Contracts finance.</li>\n<li>Maintain portfolio-level visibility of burn rates, cost recovery, and financial risks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Financial Reporting, Controls &amp; Quality Assurance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure high standards of accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in FP&amp;A and project finance reporting outputs.</li>\n<li>Review and quality-assure financial analyses and reports produced by the finance team.</li>\n<li>Support audit readiness and documentation for FP&amp;A-related processes, in coordination with Grants &amp; Contracts and accounting teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Systems, Tools &amp; Continuous Improvement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead improvements to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency, consistency, and usability.</li>\n<li>Drive standardization of financial assumptions, templates, and guidance across projects and teams.</li>\n<li>Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen financial planning and performance management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Team Leadership &amp; Cross-Organizational Collaboration</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly manage the Financial Reporting Analyst, providing clear priorities, coaching, and performance feedback.</li>\n<li>Support development of analytical capability and ownership within the finance team.</li>\n<li>Collaborate effectively with program, operations, and finance colleagues across regions.</li>\n<li>Act as a senior finance partner to project teams, reinforcing CPI values of rigor, collaboration, and accountability.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3–5 years progressive experience in FP&amp;A, project finance, or financial management.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple projects or a financial portfolio.</li>\n<li>Experience managing or mentoring junior staff.</li>\n<li>Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills;
