When educators like you join The Oaks Academy, they experience a renewed love of teaching and caring for the unique learning needs of children.</p><p><br></p><p>Thank you for completing this application, the first step in our conversation about how you can be part of this exciting learning community, and where you can grow and thrive as an effective educator.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborates with the Head of School, Director of K-2, Director of RTI, and lead teachers to identify the literacy and math needs of students, to set learning goals and targets, and to problem-solve with teachers to develop best practices for continuous academic growth of students.</li><li>Assists teachers with the collection and analysis of data</li><li>Teaches targeted literacy and math interventions to individual and small groups of students using research-based strategies and provided instructional resources</li><li>Coordinates site testing</li><li>Attends professional development to enhance knowledge of pedagogy and content, especially literacy and math</li><li>Maintains and submits accurate and up-to-date records of all students’ progress</li></ul><p><br>Founded in 1998, The Oaks Academy is a Christ-centered school that exists to provide a rich, classical education to children of diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds, preparing them to succeed in a rigorous secondary educational program and to demonstrate spiritual, social and emotional maturity. Currently on three campuses, serving 1,100 students, The Oaks Academy &nbsp;continues to grow to serve more children.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>",
