    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity:  Public Area Attendant</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Maintain cleanliness of public areas in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Growth Path</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Room Inspector – Housekeeping Supervisor – Executive Housekeeper</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Focus</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Clean all hard and textile surfaces and restrooms within public space; and respond to guest room requests.</li>\n <li>Ensure internal windows and doorways are free of fingerprints and smudges.</li>\n <li>Ensure that furniture and hard surfaces of public areas are clean and organized.</li>\n <li>Ensure floors are free of debris.</li>\n <li>Clean any carpet spots.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all surfaces of elevators are clean and free of debris.</li>\n <li>Empty all waste receptacles in public areas.</li>\n <li>Clean employee break room and employee restroom.</li>\n <li>Utilize chemicals according to directions and gain familiarity with all Material Safety Data Sheets.</li>\n <li>Follow procedures concerning protection against blood borne pathogens.</li>\n <li>Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.</li>\n <li>Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Background and Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Previous related experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment and Context</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.</li>\n <li>Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Believe</strong></p>\n<p>People Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own It</p>\n<h2>About Us </h2>\n<p>HHM Hotels is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
