The Musical is the hit theatrical stage production of the internationally acclaimed 2001 Baz Luhrman film, developed and produced by Global Creatures, an Australia-based company specializing in producing new theatrical works combining innovative stagecraft and spectacular theatricality. It opened to wide acclaim and sell-out business on Broadway in the summer of 2019 and has been nominated for 14 Tony Awards ®<span> </span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">POSITION OVERVIEW<span> </span></span></p>\r\n<p>The Props Sub will assist the Props Team in running the Stage Left and/or Stage Right Prop tracks for <em>Moulin Rouge! </em>Broadway. A successful candidate for this position will have experience running shows in a props and general availability on nights/weekends for show coverage as needed.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES<span> </span></span></p>\r\n<p>Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>• Running the Stage Left or Stage Right props track during performances as needed.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>• Working with the Props team to maintain and repair all show props to the highest standards.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>• Participation in work calls, and rehearsals as needed.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>• Arrival on time and ready for work at the start of each call.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>• Clear communication with the prop department and Production Managers about availability and coverage dates.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">QUALIFICATIONS &amp; REQUIRED SKILLS<span> </span></span></p>\r\n<p>• Detail-oriented, willing to complete both complex and menial repetitive tasks with a positive attitude.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>• General experience in furniture construction/repair, sewing, and theatrical rigging is preferred.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>• Minimum 1 years’ experience running shows in props.<span> </span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">SALARY &amp; BENEFITS<span> </span></span></p>\r\n<p>Training Rate: $2,000/week (Pro-rated by 1/8<span>th </span>Per Show)<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>Coverage Rate: $2,450/week (Pro-rated by 1/8<span>th </span>Per Show)<span> </span></p>\r\n<p>Benefits Per IATSE Full Pink Contract<span> </span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">START DATE<span> </span></span></p>\r\n<p>Flexible<span> </span></p>\r\n<p><br></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">EEOC STATEMENT<span> </span></span></p>\r\n<p>Moulin Rouge is an Equal Opportunity Employer where the spirit of inclusion feeds into everything that we do.
