Key Responsibilities Configure, integrate, test, and maintain pharmacy automation systems and EHR applications. Support the implementation and optimization of pharmacy technology solutions to improve efficiency and patient outcomes. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions for clinical and pharmacy systems. Collaborate with clinical teams to align workflows with system functionality. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Train and support staff on pharmacy systems and EHR functionality. Document processes, configurations, and system changes. Participate in project planning and execution for technology initiatives. Facilitate project team meetings to bridge clinical and technical gaps in reporting and deliver informative, well-organized presentations. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Required 3 years previous experience in an Application Analyst Role in a clinical setting, including build, maintaining, support, and troubleshooting of clinical applications. Preferred: Previous experience in inpatient or ambulatory setting. Preferred: Previous experience with pharmacy platforms and automation experience (Medication Dispensing systems and robotics) Previous experience with EHR systems and pharmacy platforms. Bachelor s Degree is preferred. Completion of approved technician training program with active Texas Board of Pharmacy License for Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and/or national certification (PTCB) is preferred. Associate degree in HIT, informatics, or related field is preferred. Previous experience with EPIC and PioneerRx. Previous project management experience. Previous experience developing and delivering technical training to adult learners. Familiarity with pharmacy automation systems (PioneerRx, NEXiA and PickPoint) Strong commitment to customer service and excellence in healthcare. Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and technical teams. Strong ability to learn and manage complex technical systems. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and State/Federal laws governing medical services. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Basic knowledge of statistics and graphical representation principles. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize. As an IT Analyst - Pharmacy, you will be an integral part of our mission-driven team, where your work will directly contribute to enhancing patient care and optimizing our pharmacy systems.</p><ul><li>Play a crucial role in enhancing medication management and improving patient outcomes.</li><li>Collaborate with a team that values your input and encourages innovative ideas.</li><li>Grow personally and professionally with opportunities for development and advancement.</li><li>Be part of a community-focused organization committed to delivering high-quality healthcare.</li><li>Enjoy a supportive culture that prioritizes work-life balance and personal satisfaction.</li></ul><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Configure, integrate, test, and maintain pharmacy automation systems and EHR applications.</li><li>Support the implementation and optimization of pharmacy technology solutions to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.</li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions for clinical and pharmacy systems.</li><li>Collaborate with clinical teams to align workflows with system functionality.</li><li>Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Train and support staff on pharmacy systems and EHR functionality.</li><li>Document processes, configurations, and system changes.</li><li>Participate in project planning and execution for technology initiatives.</li><li>Facilitate project team meetings to bridge clinical and technical gaps in reporting and deliver informative, well-organized presentations.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent is required.</li><li>Required 3 years previous experience in an Application Analyst Role in a clinical setting, including build, maintaining, support, and troubleshooting of clinical applications. </li><li>Preferred: Previous experience in inpatient or ambulatory setting.</li><li>Preferred: Previous experience with pharmacy platforms and automation experience (Medication Dispensing systems and robotics) </li><li>Previous experience with EHR systems and pharmacy platforms.</li><li>Bachelor s Degree is preferred.</li><li>Completion of approved technician training program with active Texas Board of Pharmacy License for Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and/or national certification (PTCB) is preferred.</li><li>Associate degree in HIT, informatics, or related field is preferred.</li><li>Previous experience with EPIC and PioneerRx.</li><li>Previous project management experience.</li><li>Previous experience developing and delivering technical training to adult learners.</li><li>Familiarity with pharmacy automation systems (PioneerRx, NEXiA and PickPoint)</li><li>Strong commitment to customer service and excellence in healthcare.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and technical teams.</li><li>Strong ability to learn and manage complex technical systems.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and State/Federal laws governing medical services.</li><li>Strong organizational and documentation skills.</li><li>Basic knowledge of statistics and graphical representation principles.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.</li></ul><h2><strong>About Legacy Community Health</strong></h2>As the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Southeast Texas, Legacy Community Health has been delivering comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable health care for nearly 40 years.
