They are overseeing the evaluation and optimization of energy consumption for commercial buildings and applicable systems including all associated duties from team members.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequently interact the entire team including leadership to ensure the duties and responsibilities of all team members are fulfilled.</li>\n <li>Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems.</li>\n <li>Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects.</li>\n <li>Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects.</li>\n <li>Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.</li>\n <li>Energy Procurement and Analytics\n  <ul>\n   <li>Oversee the collection, compilation, organization, and analysis of utility consumption data and rates.</li>\n   <li>Ensure all team members develop a comprehensive understanding of utility supply-side opportunities.</li>\n   <li>Ensure all team members develop a comprehensive understanding of utility procurement logistics.</li>\n   <li>Ensure all team members develop a comprehensive understanding of possible utility energy efficiency rebate and incentive programs.</li>\n   <li>Maintain a robust knowledge of utility rate changes and deregulated energy cost trends.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the completion of energy benchmarks.</li>\n   <li>Ensure utility invoices are thoroughly reviewed for errors and the errors are resolved with the utility.</li>\n   <li>Review any utility budgets developed by the team.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Energy Auditing\n  <ul>\n   <li>Oversee the collection, review, and analysis of data from field surveys and utility data.</li>\n   <li>Maintain a thorough understanding of existing building and its MEP systems.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the identification and evaluation of improvements for energy or cost reductions.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the development of associated technical reports.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Measurement and Verification\n  <ul>\n   <li>Oversee the development and implementation of IPVMP - Adherent Measurement and Verification (M&V) Plans.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the development of energy consumption baselines and adjustments through regression analysis and other appropriate methods.</li>\n   <li>Coordinate with clients, utility representatives, energy analysts, engineers, construction managers, and commission agents during all appropriate project stages to assist in the design and implementation of M&V plans for continuous monitoring of energy and water performance.</li>\n   <li>Assist with the review of design documents, M&E specifications, and shop drawings of applicable metering systems to confirm all M&V requirements are met.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the verification of utility performance of facilities and validate savings.</li>\n   <li>Review and analyze energy performance including data collection, utility bill accounting, sub-metering data analysis, and utility cost analysis.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the creation, maintenance, and distribution of M&V dashboards and reports through multiple software platforms.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Remote Monitoring\n  <ul>\n   <li>Oversee the collection and evaluation of energy, weather, and building automation data on some periodic basis.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the review of data and identification of facility operational issues affecting energy consumption, comfort, and/or code compliance.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the development of recommendations to address any identified operational issues.</li>\n   <li>Assist with the preparation of reports for project stakeholders summarizing all discoveries.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Energy Modeling\n  <ul>\n   <li>Oversee the development of engineering-based energy models to simulate existing and proposed operations of buildings or systems.</li>\n   <li>Work collaboratively with team members to identify and evaluate scope of potential improvements.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the development of life cycle cost analyses and other engineering economic analyses.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the development of supporting documentation on engineering calculations, methodologies, etc. as required.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Other\n  <ul>\n   <li>Uphold the Company owner advocacy philosophy, mission, and core values.</li>\n   <li>Perform the assigned duties with minimal supervision, while working in a team problem-solving environment.</li>\n   <li>Oversee the development of technical reports or related documents.</li>\n   <li>Mentor and train Energy Analysts, Senior Energy Analysts, Energy Engineers, and Senior Energy Engineers as required.</li>\n   <li>Manage the day-to-day activities of Energy Analysts, Senior Energy Analysts, Energy Engineers, or Senior Energy Engineers that is under your direct supervision.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.</li>\n <li>10+ Years of Experience in a related field.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with energy savings projects.</li>\n <li>Experience with life cycle cost analyses.</li>\n <li>At least 1 of the following: CEM, CMVP, CEP, CEA, EEP, or BEP certifications through the Association of Energy Engineers or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Experience in analyzing utility data.</li>\n <li>Registered Professional Engineer.</li>\n <li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft applications.</li>\n <li>Performs work with a high degree of latitude.</li>\n <li>Handles the most complex issues.</li>\n <li>Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.</li>\n <li>Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate a group.</li>\n <li>May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.</li>\n <li>Problem solving skills.</li>\n <li>Mathematic skills.</li>\n <li>Computer skills.</li>\n <li>Technical expertise.</li>\n <li>Leadership skills.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n
