    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Mauser Packaging Solutions is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, personal care, paints, and chemicals.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong>:</p>\n<p>In the role of Shipping Manager, you will oversee the shipping and receiving departments of our Charlotte, NC warehouse manufacturing environment.&nbsp; Bring your strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills to meet customers’ expectations.&nbsp; The Shipping department handles high velocity shipping each day consisting of full truck loads with individual and palletized product. You will support your teams with schedules, training, performance, and accountability of Mauser’s programs. Maintain safety, quality, productivity and efficiency standards while driving change management within your department.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages all shipping and receiving for the plant. Assures accurate on-time shipping and receiving of finished goods, work-in-process, raw materials and waste.</li>\n <li>Collaborating with warehouse personnel and other managers to optimize processes.</li>\n <li>Directs daily shipping and receiving schedules, unscheduled down times and the efficient utilization of all personnel.</li>\n <li>Works with customer service to provide best in-stock dates where required.</li>\n <li>Coordinates with Operations to develop and execute supply plans that best support the needs of the customer and the business.</li>\n <li>Develops and manages inventory plans that best support customer fill-rates, while optimizing working capital results.</li>\n <li>Reviews and verifies that all products moving to the warehouse have the correct description, quantity and number.</li>\n <li>Oversees the cycle count program and is essential member of the inventory process.</li>\n <li>Tracks, traces and expedites pick labels and orders to ensure on-time arrival to include the overall support of the warehouse flow of inbound and outbound shipments.</li>\n <li>Ensures timely actions on customer complaints and develops root cause analysis to resolve customer issues.</li>\n <li>Enforces plant rules, monitors attendance and provides corrective action (discipline) as necessary.</li>\n <li>Reviews all safety guidelines, workplace safety policies and OSHA requirements with personnel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>GED or High School diploma with minimum 5 years of experience in high volume warehouse environment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis on Supply Chain, Transportation or Logistics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Preferred: Progressive knowledge of warehouse operations, including lean manufacturing certifications.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills.</li>\n <li>Strong people and organizational skills with the ability to lead a team.</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work in an environment that is 24/7 with on call status during evening and weekends.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to change tasks throughout the day while managing team performance.</li>\n <li>Computer experience to include SAP, production planning systems and Microsoft Office.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Ability to be on feet up to 8 hours</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to sit for prolonged times at a desk and/or on a forklift (if certified)</span></li>\n <li><span>Use of hands and fingers to perform job function</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to work in confined spaces as applicable</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to lift up to 35lbs</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment, 90 plus degrees.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EEO Statement</strong></p>\n<p>Mauser Packaging Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
