Our diversity is what makes us a strong community.</p><p><strong>Position Summary&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Holy Family University seeks a dedicated Adjunct Pharmacology Instructor to join our Family Nurse Practitioner program.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for:&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Teaching advanced practice nursing students, and imparting cognitive and effective, critical thinking and psychomotor skills appropriate for the advanced professional.</li><li>The applicant may be required to teach courses through alternative delivery methods including course learning management systems as well as other technology.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>The preferred candidates will hold a Pennsylvania State Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) or Adult-Gerontology nurse practitioner (Primary Care) and hold ANCC National Certification as a Family Practitioner (Primary Care) or Adult-Gerontology nurse practitioner (Primary Care). &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Candidates will have at least 5 years of pharmacist practice in the past five years and 1-2 years of teaching experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Advanced degree in Pharmacology or a related field.</li><li>Ability to implement a course that meets program accreditation standards</li></ul><p>Applicants should submit a cover letter addressed to Denise Vanacore, PhD, CRNP, FNP-BC, Vice Dean of Graduate Nursing, a current curriculum vitae (CV), a statement on teaching experience, a statement on interests and philosophy, and a list of three professional references, including contact information.
