  "key_responsibilities": "<div><!--block-->The <strong>Machine Operator</strong> is primarily responsible for efficiently operating packaging machinery to produce various products according to customer specifications.&nbsp;</div><div><!--block-->&nbsp;</div><div><!--block--><strong>Essential functions</strong>&nbsp;</div><div><!--block-->Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.&nbsp;</div><ul><li><!--block-->Read and understand daily production schedule and material requirements.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Transport needed packaging materials to production area.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Set-up and operate packaging equipment with correct materials and product based on order specifications.&nbsp; Safely and efficiently stack finished product where required.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Meet daily production requirements.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Perform periodic quality control checks to ensure product is packaged according to customer requirements (including checking end and back seals, and date codes).&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Perform efficient and timely change overs of product varieties; must follow pre-set guidelines and change out filtering screens based on product variety/size. Set, adjust and periodically check the flow of product through a foreign materials machine. Check magnet for any foreign materials and document and report as required.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Accurately complete and maintain required documentation on product, materials/supplies, output and machine downtime.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Troubleshoot minor packaging problems and make appropriate adjustments on equipment.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Communicate with management and maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.&nbsp;</li><li><!--block-->Perform other duties as assigned by Production Manager, Production Lead or other members of management. &nbsp;</li></ul>",
