    "description": "<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PROGRAM DELIVERY MANAGER (FTE)</span><br></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>INVEST OTTAWA – AREA X.O</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p>Reporting to the Director of Business Delivery and Operations, the Program Delivery Manager collaborates across internal teams and external partners to drive measurable impact, client success, and operational excellence.</p>\n<p>The Program Delivery Manager is responsible for the hands-on execution, operational leadership, and continuous improvement of programs that support startups, SMEs, and entrepreneurs within Area X.O's ecosystem.</p>\n<p>This role directly drives program delivery — ensuring initiatives launch on time, run efficiently, and achieve measurable outcomes aligned with organizational and stakeholder objectives. These programs include the development, testing, validation, and commercialization of next-generation technologies through Area X.O's advanced R&amp;D and testbed environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Corporate Pay Band D: $76,000-$114,000</li>\n<li>Hiring Salary Range: $76,000 - $104,500</li>\n<li>Reason for opening: Backfilling a Posiition</li>\n<li><span>This position will be required to work onsite at Bayview Yards, 4-5 days per week</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead end-to-end execution of Area X.O's funded programs, owning daily operations, milestone delivery, and reporting from launch through closeout.</li>\n<li>Drive program activities across internal teams and external stakeholders, resolving bottlenecks and maintaining operational momentum.</li>\n<li>Own partner integration and management, serving as the primary point of contact for delivery partners throughout program cycles.</li>\n<li>Manage program budgets, tracking spend, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with the Director of Operations.</li>\n<li>Execute KPI tracking and reporting, leading the collection, analysis, and presentation of program metrics to stakeholders and funding bodies.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all funding agreements, managing the preparation and timely submission of reports, documentation, and audits.</li>\n<li>Identify, escalate, and resolve operational challenges, implementing solutions that improve delivery outcomes and partner satisfaction.</li>\n<li>Bridge program owners, operations, and business development teams to ensure cohesive execution across all program touchpoints.</li>\n<li>Build and manage relationships with funding bodies, industry partners, and community stakeholders to sustain and grow program reach.</li>\n<li>Partner with marketing and communications teams to drive stakeholder engagement and amplify program impact.</li>\n<li>Manage vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring contracted deliverables are met and aligned with program expectations.</li>\n<li>Implement process improvements to tools, systems, and workflows, driving efficiency, scalability, and performance gains.</li>\n<li>Provide guidance and mentorship to program staff and coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.</li>\n<li>Contribute to strategic planning, program design, and intake scoping to ensure programs are structured for successful delivery.</li>\n<li>Coordinate workshops, events, mentorship sessions, and cohort activities, ensuring a high-quality participant experience.</li>\n<li>Maintain CRM systems and program data, using insights to optimize effectiveness and decision-making.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>WHAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED/GAINED THROUGHOUT YOUR CAREER :</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in business, management, public administration, or related field</li>\n<li>5+ years of experience in program management, operations, or startup ecosystem support</li>\n<li>Experience working with startups, accelerators, or innovation programs preferred</li>\n<li>PMP, Agile or similar certification considered an asset<br></li>\n<li>Strong program and project management skills</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Strategic thinking with strong execution capability</li>\n<li>Data-driven decision-making skills</li>\n<li>Leadership, coaching, and team development skills</li>\n<li>Familiarity with startup ecosystems, funding programs, and innovation support </li>\n<li>Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and reporting tools an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Do you have some of these skills but maybe not all?  We still encourage you to apply as we would love to review your unique application and learn more about you!</span></span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>At Invest Ottawa and Bayview Yards, we know that diversity, inclusion and a sense of belongingness are critical success factors for globally competitive organizations and are required to drive sustainable wealth creation and prosperity across our region.
