Will also manage repack, damages, and slow moving stock, and will report inventory cost variances.  The position will provide root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damages in the warehouse while utilizing the Warehouse Management System and SAP.  The Inventory Analyst will partner with the Supply Chain Planning team to optimize inventory locations within the warehouse to increase productivity.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Process owner for Inventory Management, and best practices, within the warehouse</li>\n <li>Provide weekly inventory financial data, analysis and reporting</li>\n <li>Serve as a key liaison to various internal customers for all stock inventory allocation requirements</li>\n <li>Responsible for the daily execution of stock inventory movements in WMS</li>\n <li>Analyze, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis</li>\n <li>Manage inventory locations and site capacity, optimize locations for productivity and throughput</li>\n <li>Lead the execution of the inventory record accuracy through weekly cycle counting and annual physical inventory requirements</li>\n <li>Required to be an active participant during internal/external inventory audits</li>\n <li>Manage inventory movement between buildings</li>\n <li>Assure that slow moving product inventory is reviewed and disposition in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Maintain positive, professional, and timely communications, within various internal customers, as well as with external contacts</li>\n <li>Actively participate in the continuous improvement process</li>\n <li>Adapt to flexible work assignments to support business volume and/or department requirements</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>4+ years’ experience in Distribution/Warehouse Logistics. BA/BS Degree preferred.</li>\n <li>APICS CPIM Certification preferred</li>\n <li>Proven experience with inventory control processes & able to understand and perform root cause analysis</li>\n <li>Demonstrated financial acumen, ability to review, reconcile, and report, financial data related to inventory value</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); JDA (Red Prairie) a plus</li>\n <li>Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP); SAP a plus</li>\n <li>Must have strong organization skills and be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities with sense of urgency to meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Self-Directed & demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Excellent problem identification & follow through to issue resolution</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrates the ability to work well with a variety of individuals.</li>\n <li>High analytical ability and advanced Excel reporting skills (vlookup, pivot tables, & macros)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>A reasonable estimate of the current range is $83,000-139,300 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
