    "requisitionDescription": "<p>We are seeking Manufacturing Intern to support manufacturing performance, process optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives. This role works closely with our Operations functions, providing hands-on experience analyzing data, improving optimization within a manufacturing environment.</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Primary Duties:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with 5S project implementation and visual controls: Participate in Lean initiatives including 5S, value stream mapping, and waste reduction</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with Manufacturing Administrative Duties&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with monthly safety requirements&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyze production data (scrap, downtime, OEE, throughput) and develop improvement recommendations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in manufacturing workstation optimization</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with culture rollout initiatives&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist all support departments as needed&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Currently pursuing a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comfortable working on the production floor</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally</li></ul><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with data visualization or basic statistical analysis</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Gain:</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Hands-on experience in a live manufacturing environment</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Direct exposure to process improvement and equipment optimization</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Opportunity to lead a measurable improvement project</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp;Mentorship from senior operations leaders</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>This is a full-time, onsite position. &nbsp;The role will be based at our Lakewood, NJ location</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity &amp; Accessibility Statement</strong></p><p>HuFriedyGroup is an equal opportunity employer.
