    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Job Description:</p>\n<p>We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced GCP Lead Platform Engineer to join our team in the US and lead ongoing Greenfield projects in GCP for one of our customers.</p>\n<p><br>\n Responsibilities:<br>\n • Support ongoing application deployments in various GCP environments like Development,<br>\n Testing, UAT, Preproduction and Production<br>\n • Develop and maintain IaC code for GCP environment deployments<br>\n • Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the UI and API Applications<br>\n • Maintain Code Quality in the CI pipelines using Static Code Analysis tools and libraries.<br>\n • Help integrate UI applications with CDN for optimization and caching<br>\n • Work with Platform Engineering and Automation teams to coordinate Firewall changes<br>\n • Plan and work on controlled Production applications releases through Change<br>\n Management processes<br>\n • Revise and maintain documentation related to GCP<br>\n • Collaborate with onsite cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and<br>\n translate them into technical solutions.<br>\n • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to GCP infrastructure and<br>\n services.<br>\n • Stay updated with the latest GCP features, tools, and best practices.<br>\n • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide daily updates of the work progress<br>\n • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to offshore GCP Lead Platform engineers.<br>\n • Provide after-hours and on-call support (CT timezone) for the underlying GCP infrastructure<br>\n running various Applications</p>\n<p><br>\n Minimum Qualifications:<br>\n • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related<br>\n field<br>\n • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with GCP<br>\n • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Terraform<br>\n • Minimum of 3 years of CI/CD tools – Jenkins, SonarQube<br>\n • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Docker and Containerization<br>\n • Minimum of 2 years of Scripting experience in Bash/Shell, Groovy (for Jenkins)<br>\n • Proficiency in GCP services and concepts such as: GKE, Artifact Registry, Cloud Armor, Cloud<br>\n Storage, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Spanner, Cloud Functions,<br>\n Memorystore, Load Balancers, Cloud DNS, Shared VPC, Private Service Connect, Private<br>\n Google Access, VPC Firewall rules and VPC Peering<br>\n • Excellent understanding of Networking (including VPC, VPN, and Partner interconnect),<br>\n Security, and IAM in GCP<br>\n • Exposure to these Atlassian tools is required: JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket<br>\n • Working knowledge on YAML and JSON is mandatory<br>\n • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment<br>\n • Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and collaboration skills.<br>\n Nice to have:<br>\n • Any GCP Cloud certification is a big plus<br>\n • Experience with GCP Apigee API management and Microservices architecture is a big plus<br>\n • Experience in Security Command Center (SCC) and Network Command Center (NCC) is a<br>\n big plus<br>\n • Experience with build tools like NPM (NodeJS) and Gradle (Java) is highly desirable.<br>\n • Working knowledge about Akamai integration is highly desirable<br>\n • Experience with Snyk (Security) is a plus.<br>\n • Experience with Dynatrace, Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring is a plus.<br>\n • Experience with Data Engineering products like Dataflow, DataStream, and Database<br>\n Migration Service is a plus<br>\n • Knowledge of GCP cloud cost management and optimization strategies is a plus.<br>\n • Experience with Hybrid cloud environments (On-Premises and GCP)</p>",
