Montr&eacute;al-based Class&eacute;, a Sound United brand whose portfolio includes Denon, Marantz, Polk, Definitive Technology, Bowers &amp; Wilkins, Boston Acoustics and HEOS technology, is seeking a talented and experienced technician to join the Classe design team. A passion for music and cutting-edge audio products is an asset.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Troubleshoot and repair products ranging from amplifier, pre-amplifier, surround sound processor and disc players</li><li>Debug mixed-signal circuits by using various tools (multimeters, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc)</li><li>Internal organization support over email and telephone</li><li>Construct test jigs for prototyping and repair</li><li>Disassemble and assemble products for updates and repairs</li><li>Product feature and user interface testing</li><li>Maintain engineering component library</li><li>Support customer support agents with technical aspects of service incidents</li><li>Write technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system&#39;s operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations for consideration by engineers in broader determinations affecting system design, assembly, maintenance, and procedures.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>B. Eng degree in Electrical / Electronics</li></ul><p>or</p><ul><li>DEC, AEC or equivalent degree in electronics with 2 to 4 years&rsquo; experience in an electronic technician role.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Experience in analog / digital electronics with specific emphasis on the audio realm</li><li>Able to prepare procedures, technical documentation and test plan documentation for factory and engineering.</li><li>Exceptional soldering ability</li><li>Able to contribute to the development of test fixtures.</li><li>Able to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).</li><li>A good technical understanding of complex, modern audio / video home theatre system setups.</li><li>Good troubleshooting skills</li><li>Good organizational skills.</li><li>The love for high-end audio.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>About Sound United</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Sound United was founded in 2012 with a simple mission &ndash; to bring joy to the world through sound.
