With a bachelor's degree in business, finance, computing, economics, engineering, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of four years' specialized experience in financial planning and regulatory cost recovery specific to vegetation management, they bring essential </span><span>expertise</span><span> to the team. Utilizing advanced Excel and SAP Business Warehouse, they conduct thorough data analysis, forecast program costs, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The Business Analyst plays a critical role in developing cost metrics, </span><span>identifying</span><span> trends in contractor billing, and spearheading process improvements to streamline operational costs. </span><span>Strong communication</span><span> and problem-solving skills are integral as they communicate findings and recommendations to management and navigate evolving challenges within the utility sector, ensuring effective outcomes and sustained operational excellence.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Role &amp; </span></span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Responsibilities</span></span></span><span><span> </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Develops and </span><span>maintains</span><span> program cost forecasting and accrual process and </span><span>subsequent</span><span> variance analysis (budget and forecast) with input from program management and regional offices.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Develops and uses cost-related metrics in partnership with program management to develop recommendations related to business strategy and operations.
