Overview Palliative Care Physician Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy & Old Bridge, New Jersey Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated, board-certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physician to join our successful and expanding program in the southern New Jersey region. This is a 100% clinical role focused on providing exceptional, patient-centered care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will join a thriving, multidisciplinary team—including a full-time nurse practitioner, social worker, and chaplain—to deliver comprehensive pain and symptom management. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a system-wide effort to integrate palliative care, develop best practices, and truly make a difference in the lives of patients and their families. Highlights of the Opportunity: Collaborative Team: Work alongside a dedicated team of physicians, NPs, social workers, and chaplains in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Academic Engagement: Significant teaching opportunities with residents, medical students, and nursing students. Faculty Appointment: Potential for a faculty appointment with the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Program Leadership: Opportunity for leadership and support in the development of a future HPM fellowship. Work-Life Balance: A shared call schedule to support a balanced professional life. REQUIREMENTS: Board-certified or board-eligible in Palliative Medicine with fellowship training OR 2+ years of experience in the HPM field.
