    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Position Purpose</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Worship Pastor serves to oversee an atmosphere of Spirit-led worship within our congregation, combining excellence with openness and flexibility to all worship experiences for the Grace Church family. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Main Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Plan weekly worship services and worship events</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead the Grace Church community in worship that exalts Jesus. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Shepherd and guide the worship ministry volunteers.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Plan the flow of each service order with the broader worship ministry staff and Lead Pastor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead regular Worship Planning Meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead worship approximately 3x per month between our various campuses.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Oversee all worship experiences for special church-wide events.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead the volunteers in the worship ministry, both musically and spiritually. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work with songwriting teams </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Oversee all worship experiences for staff gatherings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Audition vocal and band members and engage in volunteer heart checks once a quarter.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Proficiencies Needed</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At least five years experience leading worship in large spaces.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong vocal proficiency and training required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to lead a band well, understanding instrumentation and chord charts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proficiency on guitar or keyboard is preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Leadership/Management experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Licensure/Ordination in the Christian &amp; Missionary Alliance, or willingness to pursue; Bible/Ministry degree preferred</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Who We Are</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Grace Church is a vibrant, regional, multi-campus congregation in the Cleveland, Ohio metro area, committed to exalting Jesus and making disciples who love Him deeply, grow with others faithfully, and serve the world boldly.
