We support every individual in realizing their full potential and shaping the next 100 years of our company.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">The Role</span></p>\n<p>We are looking for a GL Accountant with a focus on Inventory Accounting to join our Finance team in Prague. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of general ledger activities, including inventory processes and valuations, for Draslovka entities across the US, Canada, Chile, Mexico, and Australia. Act as backup for other colleagues from the GL team. Help with preparing procedures and other process documentation.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare, calculate, and post monthly accruals and journal entries</li>\n<li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness</li>\n<li>Execute and monitor trial balance controls and resolve discrepancies</li>\n<li>Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities</li>\n<li>Analyze and explain variances versus forecasts and prior periods</li>\n<li>Perform inventory valuation checks and cooperate with operations or supply chain teams</li>\n<li>Maintain and monitor SAP processes to ensure data accuracy</li>\n<li>Support fixed asset accounting activities as backup</li>\n<li>Support internal and external audits</li>\n<li>Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">What We Are Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher economic education in Accounting or Finance</li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience</li>\n<li>Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP</li>\n<li>Experience with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA and MS Office</li>\n<li>Experience in multinational environment is an advantage</li>\n<li>International Accounting Qualification appreciated</li>\n<li>Proficiency in fixed asset accounting software and ERP systems</li>\n<li>People orientation, relationship building skills, stress resistance</li>\n<li>English at upper-intermediate level (Spanish or other language as advantage)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Leadership Criteria:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication with employees and other stakeholders</li>\n<li>Cross-cultural thinking</li>\n<li>Reliability, team work</li>\n<li>Problem solving</li>\n<li>Ability to meet deadlines</li>\n<li>Planning and time management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<p>With us you will get the opportunity to:<br><br>• Progress in an innovative workplace, make an impact and collaborate with experienced professionals<br>• Gain new skills and share best practices<br>• Join a friendly and supportive team that values teamwork and new ideas<br>• Enjoy a full benefits package including flexibility and home-office options<br>• Receive above-standard contributions for vacation and self-development<br>• Attend language lessons<br>• Benefit from 26 days of vacation and 1 Mental Wellness Day<br>• Work from modern offices in Prague 6 with free healthy snacks and drinks<br>• Receive all necessary training and guidance from senior colleagues<br>• Reduced hours (part-time work arrangement) can be considered</p>",
