Advantages of being a Lake House team member include:</p><ul><li>Paid Time Off during your first full calendar year for Full Time employees!</li><li>Membership Discounts to the Sands Family YMCA</li><li>FREE Lunch and/or Dinner during your shift!</li><li>Robust and formalized training program to get you doing what you love as soon as possible!</li><li>Rooms, Food &amp; Bev, and Spa Discounts at The Lake House!</li><li>Many Employee Discounts at The Lake House and through LifeMart!</li><li>Company sponsored Community Service and Wellness Events!</li></ul><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><u><strong>Position</strong></u>: Pool Server</p><p><u><strong>Reports to</strong></u>: Restaurant Manager</p><p><u><strong>Job Summary</strong></u>: Responsible for greeting guests in the pool area and serve food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner. &nbsp; Ensure the entire pool area is clean and properly set up prior to the opening of the pool and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the day. &nbsp;This will be done by a consistent walkthrough of the pool area to be sure that the area is kept clean throughout the day and to be sure that all equipment is working and in place.</p><p><u><strong>Essential Functions</strong></u>:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Most work tasks are performed outdoors.</li><li>Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures.</li><li>Ability to describe all menu items, prices, and methods of preparation, using suggestive selling techniques to encourage the guests to choose items that are house specialties.</li><li>Ability to make standard bar beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.</li><li>Setup Food and Beverage areas to include linen, service ware and glassware.</li><li>Serve food and/or beverages in a professional manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.</li><li>Making proficient sales transactions within Lightspeed</li><li>Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guest&rsquo;s overall satisfaction.&nbsp;</li><li>Running Food</li><li>Handling cash &amp; other forms of payment</li><li>Properly checking Id&rsquo;s for guest who appear to be under 40.</li><li>Demonstrate responsible alcohol service.</li><li>Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge both Food and Beverage</li><li>Perform opening, closing &amp; side duties such as setting up/ breaking down station, refilling condiments, cleaning.</li><li>Knowledge of all table / seat numbers&nbsp;</li><li>Escort guests to restroom when able.</li><li>Create &ldquo;WOW&rdquo; moments by collecting detailed information along the way.</li><li>Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a clean work area.</li><li>Required to be able to work varying schedules from time to time.
