    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>As a Product Owner at United Wholesale Mortgage, you will partner closely with IT teams, business leaders, and end users to ensure our products deliver maximum value to both internal and external clients. You will align your work with the product vision and goals, translate business needs into actionable work, and drive delivery through the development lifecycle.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This product owner will work directly with Servicing and IT leadership to implement a variety of new processes and systems as UWM evolves into servicing all of our own loans.</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides direction to the team and stakeholders based on product vision and strategic goals</li>\n <li>Integrates diverse perspectives into the product development process</li>\n <li>Collaborates and negotiates trade-offs and priorities with Product Manager and stakeholders to create and manage the Epic backlog and ensure alignment with business objectives</li>\n <li>Keeps teams informed on progress, deployment timelines, and updates</li>\n <li>Writes epics that articulate clear, incremental business value</li>\n <li>Owns prioritization of the story backlog</li>\n <li>Approves stories and acceptance criteria based on requirements for development readiness</li>\n <li>Completes User Acceptance Testing to progress stories in the deployment process</li>\n <li>Communicates comprehensive progress to stakeholders throughout the development cycle</li>\n <li>Creates and maintains the current and future-state business processes and user workflows</li>\n <li>Serves as key translator and advocate between business and technology teams</li>\n <li>Leads stakeholder demos, including capturing feedback and facilitating discussion</li>\n <li>Analyzes team interactions to identify barriers to collaboration and promotes solutions that enhance communication, efficiency, project outcomes, and team dynamics</li>\n <li>Integrates user research and market analysis into the product development lifecycle</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU</h2>\n<p><strong>Must Have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>6+ years of experience in IT as Product Owner or Business Analyst</li>\n <li>Experience working within Servicing</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li>\n <li>Proficient in Agile methodologies for all roles</li>\n <li>Advanced listening and facilitation abilities</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Experience using Jira or similar work tracking platform</li>\n <li>Ability to work 100% on-site in Pontiac, Michigan</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Nice to</strong> <strong>Have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field</li>\n <li>Advanced Agile certification and/or scaling certification </li>\n <li>Experience working with MSP is highly preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>THE PLACE & THE PERKS</h2>\n<p>Ready to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
