Will use 8D Problem Solving Process to ensure sustainable quality products. %0A Develops operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives %0A Assures product and process quality by designing complex testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes %0A Participates in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability %0A Writes spec books; requests and evaluation of supplier quotations %0A Designs, documents, and implements medium to large-scale manufacturing processes. Determines feasibility of product changes %0A Utilize system analysis of production methods/procedures and process automations for continued growth improvements. %0A Performs a variety of complicated tasks relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals %0A Evaluates current production activities and drives improvements %0A Periodically ensures that highly technical equipment meets required specifications and high quality standards %0A Implements cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards %0A Contributes to product and process quality design testing methods %0A Develops planning standards, methods, and procedures %0A Plans workplaces considering ergonomics %0A Stays current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes %0A Provides guidance to team members to accomplish production goals; Mentors and provides guidance to less senior manufacturing engineers for skill/knowledge base development. Motivate, develop, direct and influence team members at all levels and cultural backgrounds of the organization. %0A May act as deputy for Production Manager %0A Proposes and manages medium-scale projects from beginning to end.
