Other duties may be assigned. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists the doctor in procedures </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays </li>\n <li>Prophy teeth </li>\n <li>Instructs patients on oral hygiene </li>\n <li>Chart and treatment plan with doctor </li>\n <li>Sterilizes instruments </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment </li>\n <li>Take IO's </li>\n <li>Charting </li>\n <li>Sealants, if applicable </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred </li>\n <li>BIlingual in Spanish, preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>California Registered Dental Assistant License </li>\n <li>X-Ray Certification </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coronal Polish Certification required  </li>\n <li>Current BLS certification</li>\n <li>Sealant Certification, preferred </li>\n</ul>",
