As a Yard Driver, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the flow of our operation, transporting trailers around the yard, supporting warehouse activities, and helping keep our facility organized and safe. You’ll work closely with our logistics and warehouse teams to ensure that every load, trailer, and movement meets VP’s high standards.</p><p><br></p><p>This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. If you take pride in doing things right the first time and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you’ll fit right in.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely operate a yard mule tractor trailer to move, spot, and park trailers, including in tight spaces, using a <strong>safety-first mindset</strong>.</li><li>Document all trailer movements and maintain accurate electronic location tracking.</li><li>Inspect trailers before moving; ensure doors are closed and loads are secure.</li><li>Report and document any issues or concerns with trailers or yard mule equipment.</li><li>Verify that loads are properly strapped when required.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.</li><li>Maintain <strong>forklift certification</strong> (or be willing to obtain it).</li><li>Assist with shipping and receiving operations.</li><li>Load and unload trucks as needed.</li><li>Organize inventory and help fulfill orders.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Should You Join Our Team?</strong></p><p>At VP Racing, we don’t just create high-performance fuels, we create high-performance careers. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise.
