Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a test engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with software, system, and security engineers and developers to evaluate software developed for web applications, microservices, and multiple software products. You’ll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated end-to-end testing frameworks and reusable test utilities, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of web applications, services, and microservice-based software products. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test. The world can’t wait.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You Have:</strong> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience in software engineering in an Agile environment</li>\n <li>1+ years of experience in software and capability testing</li>\n <li>Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java </li>\n <li>Experience with code and functional testing techniques and frameworks including Playwright or Cypress </li>\n <li>Experience with writing, maintaining, and running unit tests for production systems </li>\n <li>Experience testing REST APIs and distributed services </li>\n <li>Experience with software debugging and problem-solving skills </li>\n <li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Bitbucket Pipelines </li>\n <li><p>TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph</p></li>\n <li><p>HS Diploma or GED </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Nice If You Have:</strong> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience building end to end tests using Playwright </p></li>\n <li><p>TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph </p></li>\n <li><p>Bachelor's Degree </p></li>\n <li><p>ISTQB certification </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance:</strong></p>\n<p>Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60.10 to $96.16 per hour.
