    "description": "<h2>The Opportunity</h2>\n<p>The Memphis Grizzlies are looking for a Public Safety Dispatch Officer to protect the FedExForum, promote and enforce safety and security, and act as a visible deterrent against irregular activity. You will assist in 24/7 security for the arena as well as event-related security. </p>\n<h2>In This Role You Will</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.</li>\n <li>Recognize and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.</li>\n <li>Report in detail, written and verbally, any suspicious incidents.</li>\n <li>Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.</li>\n <li>Operate CCTV and access control systems.</li>\n <li>Oversee the threat monitoring system.</li>\n <li>Manage centralized radio communication system.</li>\n <li>Distribute, collect, and inventory shift equipment (ex. radios).</li>\n <li>Conduct screening of employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.</li>\n <li>Oversee the restricted areas of the dock. </li>\n <li>Communicate with responsible parties, deploy security or service assets. </li>\n <li>Document and submit shift reports regarding incidents, tasks, activities, notes, and other pertinent information. </li>\n <li>Conduct threat detection monitoring (ex. weather, social media, and open-source data).</li>\n <li>Work odd hours, to include nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>\n <li>Possess a strong working knowledge of all security posts with the capability to exercise good judgment in a professional manner at each position.</li>\n <li>Conduct pedestrian and vehicle patrol for the building interior and external perimeter (as needed).</li>\n <li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>The Experience You Will Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High-School Diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>At least one year of related experience. </li>\n <li>Must be able to meet minimum requirements for the license eligibility for the State of Tennessee Private Protective Services.</li>\n <li>Must be able to meet qualifications for license renewal under the State of Tennessee Private Protective Services every 2 years. </li>\n <li>Be at least 18 years of age.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of sports and entertainment, specifically NBA basketball. </li>\n <li>At least 2-3 years of emergency services/law enforcement dispatch experience.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of security operations and/or safety practices.</li>\n <li>Security license.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of safety equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<p>At the Memphis Grizzlies, we strive to support our team members through all stages of life with robust and attractive benefits, financial and wellness options and great perks.
