We invite you to explore a career with Wellbridge and are proud to offer comprehensive and affordable benefits including lifestyle perks such as free cafeteria service and an on-site gym/wellness center!</td></tr></tbody></table><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">Lead Recovery Support Specialist - Nights. &nbsp;Full-time, Wednesday - Saturday 4p-2:30a. &nbsp;This position is eligible for applicable shift pay differentials.</p><p>Provide support and leadership to fellow RSS team members to direct care and support to patients in all program levels of care.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Provide on-site leadership and training to RSS staff, complete staff shift schedule and assignments</li><li>Consistently collaborate with Clinical and Nursing supervision to discuss care plans and issues</li><li>Reporting of patient medical concern or medical observation concern, point-of-care testing, biometrics, specimen collection language services, observation checks, witness to skin assessment, medical observation, psychiatric observation, patient transfers, discharges</li><li>Round each unit often to support or provide education as needed, checking in with providers, clinical, reception, admissions, security, maintenance, and kitchen staff</li><li>Assist with breaks, discharges, and new admissions when needed</li><li>Provide de-escalation for both staff and patients when necessary</li><li>Provide RSS care and support as directed</li><li>Maintain a safe and caring environment, delivering care in a culturally sensitive manner and consistent with Wellbridge mission, vision and values</li></ul><p><br></p><p>OTHER DUTIES:   &nbsp;</p><p>This job description is intended to provide general guidance and not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of relevant activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. For patient care needs, this is an on-site role. Communicate and exchange information clearly verbally and electronically. Consistently mobile, traversing general office and facility areas to monitor patient areas. Occasional computer and phone, general office equipment use.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High school diploma or educational equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years&rsquo; experience working in addiction treatment required.</li><li>General knowledge of substance uses and/or mental health disorders.</li><li>Current BLS or obtained within 60 days of hire.</li><li>Demonstrated communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Current NYS driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record.</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Some lead or supervisory experience.</li><li>Certified Recovery Peer Advocate, CRPA.</li><li>Completion of a Nurse Assistant Program or 1st year nursing program completion.</li><li>Familiarity with all relevant healthcare standards: OASAS, ASAM, etc. &nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of Self-Help Programs, Mutual Support groups Programs, and 12-step programs.</li><li>Completion of a mental health, social health care or nursing assistant program.</li></ul></div></div>\n",
