This role leads the development and execution of practical, site-specific EHS strategies and programs that:</p>\n</div>\n<p>- Raise awareness of risks and control strategies across manufacturing and distribution environments</p>\n<p>- Reduce and eliminate hazards that may result in injuries, illnesses, and financial loss</p>\n<p>- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and company standards</p>\n<p>- Drive a strong safety culture through operational engagement and leadership presence</p>\n<p>- Align EHS strategy and execution across manufacturing and warehouse operations to ensure consistency, scalability, and risk reduction across the regional footprint</p>\n<p>- Establish and reinforce ownership and accountability at all levels to ensure safety is embedded as a core operational responsibility</p>\n<p>This role partners directly with site leadership to ensure consistent execution of EHS programs across both production and logistics functions, while aligning with regional and enterprise EHS strategy.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<p>Multi-Site &amp; Functional EHS Leadership</p>\n<p>- Lead EHS performance across the Anderson and Pelzer manufacturing and warehouse operations</p>\n<p>- Drive strategic alignment of EHS programs across production, material handling, and distribution activities</p>\n<p>- Hold site leadership and frontline teams accountable for safety performance, ensuring clear ownership of risks, actions, and outcomes</p>\n<p>- Standardize programs while adapting to site- and function-specific risks</p>\n<p>- Partner with plant and operations leaders to embed EHS into daily workflows</p>\n<p>Risk Identification &amp; Control</p>\n<p>- Identify safety and environmental hazards across manufacturing and warehouse processes</p>\n<p>- Implement controls addressing production, material handling, and logistics risks</p>\n<p>Incident Prevention &amp; Investigation</p>\n<p>- Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and injuries</p>\n<p>- Identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions</p>\n<p>- Drive serious injury and fatality (SIF) prevention strategies including electrical safety, LOTO, machine guarding, and mobile equipment risks</p>\n<p>Regulatory Compliance &amp; Environmental Programs</p>\n<p>- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and South Carolina regulatory requirements</p>\n<p>- Manage environmental programs including air permitting, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and stormwater/NPDES compliance</p>\n<p>Data, Metrics &amp; Operational Alignment</p>\n<p>- Track, analyze, and communicate safety and environmental performance metrics</p>\n<p>- Integrate EHS metrics across manufacturing and warehouse operations to support unified decision-making and resource prioritization</p>\n<p>- Ensure performance metrics drive accountability and continuous improvement at the site and leadership level</p>\n<p>- Provide clear, actionable insights to site and regional leadership</p>\n<p>Program Development &amp; Continuous Improvement</p>\n<p>- Lead development and continuous improvement of EHS programs and procedures</p>\n<p>- Apply Lean principles and Human &amp; Organizational Performance (HOP) concepts to drive sustainable performance</p>\n<p>Training &amp; Culture</p>\n<p>- Deliver targeted EHS training for manufacturing and warehouse teams</p>\n<p>- Promote a culture where safety ownership is expected, visible, and consistently reinforced across all levels of the organization</p>\n<p>Qualifications</p>\n<p>- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering, or related field</p>\n<p>- 5–10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments (multi-site strongly preferred)</p>\n<p>- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices</p>\n<p>- Experience in program development, incident investigation, and safety systems (LOTO, Arc Flash, Machine Guarding, Work at Height, Mobile Equipment)</p>\n<p>- Strong analytical and leadership capability with a continuous improvement mindset</p>\n<p>Certifications</p>\n<p>- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) – Preferred</p>\n<p>- Additional EHS-related certifications (e.g., CIH, CHMM) are a plus</p>\n<p>Additional Requirements</p>\n<p>- Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels</p>\n<p>- Proficiency in MS Office and EHS data systems</p>\n<p>- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-site environment</p>\n<p>Travel Requirement</p>\n<p>- Approximately 25% travel between Anderson and Pelzer sites, with limited overnight travel</p>\n<p>Why This Role Matters</p>\n<p>- Direct ownership of SIF prevention across manufacturing and warehouse operations</p>\n<p>- Drives standardization and scalability of EHS programs across facilities</p>\n<p>- Strengthens accountability-based safety culture across multiple sites</p>\n<p>- High-impact leadership role supporting critical manufacturing and distribution operations</p>",
