    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><h2 data-pasted=\"true\">Position Overview</h2><p>Passero Associates is seeking a Civil Project Engineer/Aviation Civil Engineer to join our Albany, NY office. This position will support municipal, aviation, and site development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for civil site design, grading, stormwater management, and preparation of construction documents suitable for public bidding.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Develop civil engineering design documents from concept through final design.</li><li>Lead grading design strategy including drainage pattern development and constructability considerations.</li><li>Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (SCS/NRCS, time of concentration, pre/post analysis).</li><li>Design detention/retention systems and stormwater conveyance infrastructure.</li><li>Evaluate utility conflicts and coordinate with water/sewer authorities.</li><li>Develop complete construction plan sets suitable for public/municipal bidding.</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.</li><li>Support permitting applications and agency coordination efforts.</li><li>Provide construction administration support as needed.</li><li>Provide technical oversight of CAD production and junior staff.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited).</li><li>Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required.</li><li>3&ndash;7 years of relevant civil/site design experience.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surface modeling, grading tools, pipe networks, and plan production workflows.</li><li>Demonstrated experience independently developing grading plans, performing stormwater calculations, and preparing supporting drainage reports.</li><li>Experience preparing construction plan sets for public bid environments.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple design tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting project schedules.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York or ability to obtain within 12 months.</li><li>Experience leading design efforts on municipal, aviation, or publicly funded infrastructure projects.</li><li>Experience with drainage modeling software (e.g., HydroCAD, Hydraflow, ICPR, or similar).</li><li>Experience working in multidisciplinary A/E project environments.</li></ul><h2>Growth &amp; Opportunity</h2><p>This role offers advancement toward Project Manager and Client Manager responsibilities.
