The PA will manage patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring high-quality and efficient medical services.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct initial assessments and history taking of admitted patients.</li><li>Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.</li><li>Perform daily rounds to monitor and manage patient progress.</li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and EKGs.</li><li>Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate.</li><li>Coordinate patient care with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers.</li><li>Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.</li><li>Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.</li><li>Current PA license in the state of New York.</li><li>Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.</li><li>Previous experience as a hospitalist or in an inpatient setting is needed.</li></ul><br><br>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. $95-$100/hr</li><li>25K FEA</li><li>Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment.</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance.</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul><br><br>EOE",
