Description

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Medical Secretary to join our front office team. This role is responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, verifying insurance, and supporting daily office operations. Cross-training in other front office functions may be required. Supervisory Responsibilities None Reports To Front Office Team Lead Practice Administrator Skills & Qualifications Experience in OB/GYN or women’s health strongly preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Professional, organized, and detail-oriented Essential Duties & Responsibilities Answer and route incoming phone calls Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Check patients out and schedule follow-up visits Verify insurance coverage as assigned Manage patient messages, records, and documentation Maintain accurate patient information in the EMR Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed Support medical records and other front office functions through cross-training Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff Perform other duties as assigned
