    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.49.9/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.49.9/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position Purpose:&nbsp;</strong>To upfit, assemble and build trucks for utilities, rail and telecommunications.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Assemble &amp; install commercial hydraulic and electrical components on specialty trucks&nbsp;</li><li>Assemble &amp; install products such as snowplows, service bodies, lift gates, hose reels, cranes, and dump bodies etc. on specialty trucks&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, impact tools, pneumatic tools, and grinders etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Complete jobs accurately within the designated bid hours&nbsp;</li><li>General repair and/or installation of truck equipment on cab chassis</li><li>Keep the work area clean and maintain the condition of personal tools and shop tools</li><li>Follow all safety guidelines and procedures&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>None</p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>High school diploma preferred&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have good understanding of basic automotive mechanical, electrical (12-volt), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems</li><li>Must have knowledge of fitting sizes, sizing for hydraulic hosing, and electrical wiring</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Strong mechanical aptitude&nbsp;</li><li>General electrical wiring&nbsp;</li><li>Welding experience is preferred (either MIG, TIG, or Stick)</li><li>Any fabrication skills are a plus</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills</li><li>Certified Forklift operator preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Certified overhead crane operator preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read/ understand hydraulic and electrical systems schematics</li><li>Ability to operate a plasma cutter is preferred</li><li>Ability to work independently and on a team</li></ul><p><strong>Other:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must own your own tools (company tool program may be available)&nbsp;</li><li>Regular and consistent attendance</li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to learn</li><li>Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen &amp; physical</li><li>Must be able to pass background check&nbsp;</li><li>Regular and consistent attendance</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>The ability to wear the appropriate PPE for the job task performed. (All technicians are required to wear safety toed shoes and safety glasses. Painters/ welders are required to wear either PAPRs or full-face respirators and must complete an OSHA medical evaluation/ spirometry test annually.)</li><li>The ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch while also utilizing tools</li><li>The ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, or work platforms</li><li>May lift up to 25-50lbs and/or move up to 50lbs with assistive devices</li><li>Must be able to work in extreme weather</li><li>Must be able to operate in noisy environments (&ge;85 Db)</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
