This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions across a wide range of systems and services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams—including system, platform, release, automation, and test engineers—to support the secure development, modernization, and operation of enterprise applications and infrastructure.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, build, and implement security solutions for complex enterprise IT services and applications (web, mobile, and enterprise services)</li>\n <li>Provide security engineering support for COTS and GOTS product integration, managed services, and IT operations</li>\n <li>Administer and secure core infrastructure components, including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Active Directory (AD)</li>\n   <li>DNS, DHCP, and file services</li>\n   <li>Server operating systems and backup solutions</li>\n   <li>Antivirus and monitoring tools</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Identify, analyze, and remediate system vulnerabilities; recommend improvements for future security enhancements</li>\n <li>Perform network security administration and support engineering tasks as directed by the Government</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve system outages and major network security issues in collaboration with other teams</li>\n <li>Evaluate and test new security technologies within enterprise lab environments</li>\n <li>Develop and validate system changes in test environments prior to production deployment</li>\n <li>Install and integrate new security hardware and software, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and networks</li>\n <li>Engineer and implement security enhancements for infrastructure components such as servers, AD, DNS, and monitoring platforms</li>\n <li>Research emerging security technologies and assess their applicability to the enterprise</li>\n <li>Support long-term security planning and technology refresh initiatives</li>\n <li>Leverage monitoring tools to optimize system performance and security posture</li>\n <li>Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review and support secure implementation of system changes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in security engineering</li>\n <li>Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)</li>\n <li>Active Top Secret Clearance</li>\n <li>Server security administration (Microsoft Server 2016/2019, Red Hat Linux 6+)Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)</li>\n <li>Disaster recovery planning (cloud, command/control, and traditional data center environments)</li>\n <li>Secure remote access technologies (VPN, DMVPN, IPSec, VDI – Citrix/AWS Workspace/Azure)</li>\n <li>Configuration management and change control processes</li>\n <li>Monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Riverbed)</li>\n <li>Security tools (e.g., Splunk, ACAS)</li>\n <li>CISSP or MCSE or RHCE - preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Additional Knowledge</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong understanding of DoD and DISA cybersecurity requirements</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with DI2E (DevSecOps)</p></li>\n <li><p>Familiarity with DISA and JSP environments</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with Microsoft Server 2016/2019 and Red Hat 7+</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of Splunk and Fortify </p><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Posted Min Pay Rate</h2>USD $110,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Posted Max Pay Rate</h2>USD $140,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Salary Disclosure</h2>Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
