Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&amp;D/technology sites, and employ more than 3.100 people across North America.</p><p><strong><u>GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:</u></strong>&nbsp;The Maintenance Manager provides project management leadership along with equipment and facility maintenance and improvements to the plant. This position is a vital part of the plant operations leadership team. They lead the maintenance and engineering teams in all unplanned and preventive maintenance activities at the plant. They provide general departmental planning, scheduling, parts/supplies acquisition, and administration of maintenance programs. The position ensures that scheduled facility and process maintenance and repairs are completed, accurately and timely.</p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong>&nbsp;List the job's essential or most important functions and responsibilities. Include all important aspects of the job -- whether performed daily, weekly, monthly, or annually; and any that occur at irregular intervals.</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Supports a high-performance, results-oriented culture</li><li>Works with salaried and hourly staff to promote behavioral changes designed to eliminate the risk of injury caused by unsafe acts</li><li>Maintains a high standard of safety and compliance</li><li>Manages plant engineering, and maintenance personnel</li><li>Provides technical and operational leadership for equipment and facility maintenance, improvements, and new product development</li><li>Develops and implements plant preventive maintenance programs</li><li>Develops the annual operating plan for facilities and equipment resources, tracks and manages to that plan throughout the fiscal year</li><li>Develops the annual plant CapEx plan. Ensures the site capital plan fully supports the facility plan objectives</li><li>Delivers disciplined project management</li><li>Participates in plant ECR process for equipment and process related changes</li><li>Supports plant ISO document management</li><li>Site emergency response team member</li><li>Provides preventive and unplanned maintenance throughout the plan</li><li>Leads the Maintenance and Engineering Teams and holds each employee accountable</li><li>Works within computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to plan, assign, and close work orders, as required</li><li>Schedules maintenance technicians to provide required manpower during production or downtime</li><li>Places orders for equipment/supplies in SAP</li><li>Troubleshoots, plans, modifies, and repairs/rebuilds all types of plant equipment</li><li>Performs basic electrical troubleshooting, repair, and construction, as required</li><li>Works in accordance with OSHA and Tremco safety policies and procedures</li><li>Enters MRO receipts in SAP system, maintains parts inventory/shop/equipment files/records</li><li>Directs work of other maintenance personnel and others, as required (contractors, operators, etc.)</li><li>Research equipment/facility needs as appropriate through manuals, files, internet, etc.</li><li>Works in accordance with OSHA and Tremco safety rules, policies, procedures</li><li>Performs other job duties, as assigned</li></ul><p><strong><u>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Bachelor's degree from four or 5-year college or university, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering</li><li>7 years related experience and/or training managing maintenance teams and working in manufacturing environments</li></ul><p><strong><u>OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Demonstrated ability to build relationships with all levels of the plant organization (senior management, plant leadership team, maintenance staff, unionized hourly production employees)</li><li>Knowledge of modern control systems (PLC's, AC/DC Drives, etc.)</li><li>Capital equipment specification/installation</li><li>Creation of standard work instructions/SOP's</li><li>Experience with maintenance management systems (PM's, work orders)</li><li>Demonstrated team leadership skills</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of arithmetic, statistics, continuous improvement concepts, ISO procedures, and their applications.</li><li>Ability to apply Excel, Word, and SAP applications to daily job responsibilities.</li><li>Continuous web process and batch process equipment experience</li><li>Knowledge of safety, environmental, SOX, and workplace regulations</li></ul><p><strong><u>BENEFITS:</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Tremco offers a variety of benefits to its employees, including but not limited to health insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, Company Pension Plan, Performance Based Bonus/Commission, and continuing education.</li></ul><p><i><strong>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.</strong></i></p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
