With over 12 billion die in stock, Rochester can manufacture over 70,000 device types.</em></p><p><strong><u>General Summary</u></strong></p><p>The Senior Process Engineer develops and documents manufacturing techniques, materials, tools and processes related to back-end semiconductor assembly. &nbsp;Performs analyses and selects techniques to solve problems and enhance product yield and process flows.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Establishes high-yielding, cost-effective processes based on product need and customer requirements.</li><li>Maintains knowledge of new developments in manufacturing and design technologies.</li><li>Develops and executes Design of Experiments (DOE) for process optimization utilizing appropriate statistical analysis software, such as JUMP, Minitab, Excel Statistics, or equivalent.&nbsp;</li><li>Establishes processes based on product specifications.</li><li>Evaluates and validates process and design alternatives based on product manufacturability.</li><li>Understands principles of cost of goods sold and develops process improvements to increase cost effectiveness of manufacturing.</li><li>Understands intellectual property issues relative to processes being developed.</li><li>Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors and vendors.</li><li>May serve as member on cross-functional project teams.</li><li>Understands work environment issues (i.e. OSHA regulations, etc.).</li><li>Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering discipline</li><li>A minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience in manufacturing.
