The Site Superintendent collaborates directly with the Project Manager, Vendors, and Trade Partners to pace schedules throughout the lifecycle of the project, managing terms, conditions &amp; expectations of work agreements (purchase orders)</span><span>. They </span><span>maintain</span><span> </span><span>timely</span><span> and effective communication with the Project Managers and Clients on </span><span>jobsite related</span><span> matters. Responsibilities</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Produce completed remodeling projects on time and within budget including:</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Proactive problem-solving.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Nothing less than our company standard and excellent quality workmanship.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Clear and regular communication with customers, </span><span>supervisor</span><span>, and staff.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Completion of all necessary production reporting as </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Prompt attendance at all required staff and department meetings.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Willingness to aggressively resolve conflicts and issues promptly and effectively with a “win-win” bold\"><span><span>Authority: The Site Superintendent has the following decision-making authority for the organization:</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Minor modifications to actual construction design specifications in alignment with current design drawings and documents.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Purchase materials for projects in alignment with specifications, estimates and allowances as defined in the Oxland Builders Purchase Order Policy as defined in the Oxland Builders Production Policy Manual.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Direct Oxland Builders production department employees assigned to project your projects.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Make adjustments to</span><span> the project schedule and daily work schedule to address delays, weather conditions, or other unforeseen issues to keep the project on track.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Make small adjustments to the project scope, WITHOUT A SIGNED CHANGE </span><span>ORDER,  due</span><span> to unforeseen circumstances or items missed in estimating </span><span>as long as</span><span> these changes do not significantly affect the budget or overall project scope.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>The Site Superintendent can enforce or update safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, especially if new hazards are </span><span>identified</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Qualifications</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in high end residential remodeling, degree in project management or equivalent demonstrated experience.  </span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Strong knowledge and understanding of the life cycle of a remodeling project </span><span>required</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>High School Diploma </span><span>required</span><span>. </span><span>Additional</span><span> schooling within the construction field is highly desired.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Residential remodeling experience including layout knowledge of foundations, framing, cabinets, interior finish packages, and working with subcontractors.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Ability to interact and communicate well with clients, team members, vendors, and specialty trade contractors.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>In depth knowledge of construction </span><span>principals</span><span> and installation techniques.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Able to perform carpentry duties that include light framing and finish work – 50% of the time.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Preferred knowledge and experience in </span><span>JobTread</span><span> construction software but will consider w</span><span>orking knowledge of </span><span>other </span><span>construction software like Procore, </span><span>BuilderTrend</span><span>, </span><span>CoConstruct</span><span>, etc.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Computer skills include but are not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and the Internet.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Reliable, honest, and ethical as well as having the ability to </span><span>manage with</span><span> these core values
