Begin your career with West Point Community Living Center where meaningful connections and opportunities await you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Housekeeper duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas using standard procedures (vacuuming, mopping, wiping, polishing, etc.)</li><li>Ensure residents’ rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained attractively while safeguarding personal items</li><li>Clean spills, soiled areas, and other hazards promptly</li><li>Follow cleaning schedules and maintain equipment and supply carts</li><li>Sweep, vacuum, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors</li><li>Move and replace furniture and assist in heavy lifting as needed</li><li>Ensure proper lighting, cleanliness of storage and exterior areas</li><li>Coordinate daily housekeeping services with other departments</li><li>Follow all rules regarding Residents’ Rights</li><li>Maintain safety by adhering to procedures for cleaners, hazardous materials, infection control, isolation, fire, safety, and sanitation</li><li>Report hazardous conditions, accidents, and incidents to supervisors promptly</li><li>Attend orientation, in-service training, and staff meetings; assist in training new staff members</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>",
