This directorate has diverse research projects concerning nuclear material science and operations, nuclear processing activities, collecting and measuring environmental samples, nonproliferation monitoring, and improving analytical methods in support of such activities. SRNL is seeking to grow external funding in these focus areas and scientists/engineers interested with serving as principal investigators on these focus areas. The successful candidate will be lead multiple research projects and develop new proposal concepts in support of these focus areas.</p>",
