Our ambition is simple: to be our clients’ most valued asset-management partner.</p><p></p><p><span>Who You’ll Work With:</span></p><p>This position will report to a Director of Investment Operations but will also require close working relationships across the firm.</p><p><span>What You’ll Do:</span></p><p>Operational Management – 75%</p><ul><li>Provide day-to-day support for investment transactions</li><li>Engage with and interpret detailed investment transaction legal documents</li><li>Drive the set-up of new deal structures, and manage existing deal structures,</li><li>Coordinate and manage all aspects of booking transactions in AB CarVal’s systems</li><li>Prepare and manage reporting and analysis</li><li>Research and resolve complex issues related to transactions and processes</li><li>Assist in developing operational procedures to support business activities</li><li>Assist with transaction valuations and treasury liquidity requirements and projections</li><li>Respond to internal and external queries regarding transactions, bookings, and reconciliations</li><li>Assist with invoice and deal expense processing</li></ul><p></p><p>Business Partnering – 25%</p><ul><li>Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisers and auditors</li><li>Provide input on transaction documentation and collaborate with internal legal, risk, and compliance when needed</li><li>Utilize judgment in making decisions related to the investment operations function and assume responsibility for the impact to the business</li><li>Understand key areas of the business and anticipate potential issues; proactively communicate solutions to others within the team or management</li></ul><p><span>What We’re Looking For:</span></p><p>Required:</p><ul><li>Qualified Accountant (1 – 5 years’ post qualified experience)</li><li>Good Excel skills including data modelling and analysis</li><li>High level verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment</li><li>Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task</li><li>Strong analytical/problem solving skills</li><li>Positive and enthusiastic attitude</li><li>Enjoys working in a team environment</li><li>Desire to learn and contribute to the team</li></ul><p><b><span>Who We Are:</span></b></p><p><u><span>About AB CarVal</span></u></p><p>AB CarVal is an established global alternative investment manager and part of AllianceBernstein’s Private Alternatives business.
