You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to our clients—guiding strategic planning conversations, interpreting complex healthcare needs, and translating them into impactful design solutions.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">In this role, you will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Lead and provide expert medical planning guidance to both project teams and the firm-wide healthcare practice.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, ensuring alignment between strategic goals, operational needs, and regulatory compliance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Develop a deep understanding of each client’s clinical program, organizational standards, and workflow priorities to shape the project’s design vision.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Support proposal development and contract negotiations by defining planning scope, work effort, and milestone schedules.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Facilitate and lead key project meetings and presentations, acting as the primary planning liaison to client leadership and user groups.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Collaborate with design leads to develop integrated planning solutions that align clinical functionality with architectural expression.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Coordinate closely with project managers, architects, and consultants to establish project schedules and ensure planning continuity.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Champion inter-disciplinary coordination and uphold quality control across all planning efforts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Oversee the development and documentation of planning concepts throughout the design process, from visioning through construction.</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 33, 36);\">You'll bring to DGA: </span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A proven track record of 10+ years leading healthcare planning and design efforts across complex medical environments, including acute care, outpatient, and specialty facilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; familiarity with OSHPD/HCAI compliance and California healthcare regulations is a strong plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Deep expertise in healthcare design strategy, master planning, and clinical programming, with a strong understanding of operational workflows and regulatory drivers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Demonstrated ability to build trust and lead conversations with senior client stakeholders, user groups, and project partners—ensuring alignment from visioning through implementation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A collaborative leadership style with experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff within an interdisciplinary design environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear, actionable planning strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to represent DGA in client meetings and presentations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office; experience with SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and dRofus is a plus, particularly in communicating planning concepts effectively</span><br><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">At DGA, people come first.
