Your responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and coordination of engineering activities, performing site Health &amp; Safety audits, ensuring the team is properly equipped, and maintaining a professional and safe working environment.</span><br><br></p>\n<p><span>This is an exciting opportunity for someone with drainage experience or a supervisory background, who is looking to develop their career further. The role will involve both field and office-based tasks, ensuring that operations run smoothly, while also being part of the operational team when needed.</span><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Assist with planning and coordinating the activities of the engineering team to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.</span></li>\n<li><span>Being the first point of contact for the operatives and supporting them with problem solving for any drainage related issues.</span></li>\n<li><span>Customer/Client interaction- providing timescales and being a contact to answer any questions or queries they may have</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform Health &amp; Safety audits on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure that the team has the necessary equipment, information, and resources to complete work efficiently and safely.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assisting in managing the company’s vehicles and plant within the depot, ensuring they are properly calibrated, serviced, and maintained.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain the fleet and equipment in a condition that reflects the company’s professional image and commitment to Health &amp; Safety.</span></li>\n<li><span>Oversee the efficient scheduling of work to maximise productivity and asset usage.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Previous experience in drainage or utilities is preferred, but not essential.</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of field-based engineers.</span></li>\n<li><span>A full UK driving licence is required.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks effectively to optimise workflow and asset usage.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>21 days holiday</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Life Assurance</span></li>\n<li><span>Auto enrolment pension scheme;</span></li>\n<li><span>Free onsite parking;</span></li>\n<li><span>Friendly working environment;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>This position is open to Internal and External candidates.  Any internal candidates currently employed within a division of the Lanes Group must complete an Internal Application form and submit to recruitment.<br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The Lanes Group plc comprises of a range of established service providers subsidiaries, which complement the specialist service of Lanes, by both work type and geography.
