At Gray, you’ll find a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>“Personal growth precedes Gray’s growth.” – Stephen Gray, President & CEO, Gray, Inc.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Expect</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project Manager.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the entire construction schedule.  Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate.  Individual poses the ability to assist in coordination/management of all trades throughout build process.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in selection of qualified bidders and negotiate final prices.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in the preparation of various reports, i.e. cost to complete, monthly billings and status reports.</p></li>\n <li><p>Review all drawings, i.e. P&IDs, Mechanical, Electrical, Shop, Architectural, Structural, etc. when they are issued to the field and coordinate and maintain a current set at all times.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in pricing work, draft changes and change orders to be reviewed by MEP Project Manager.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with the project.</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.</p></li>\n <li><p>Schedule work, including subcontractors.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in the productivity and quantity tracking of the subcontractors installed work.</p></li>\n <li><p>Determine materials, equipment and tools needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Secure appropriate supply sources.</p></li>\n <li><p>Set up and close out construction site.</p></li>\n <li><p>Serve as on-site Safety Officer when one is not specifically assigned to the project.  And also, will be required to participate in the company’s safety portion of the QMS program.</p></li>\n <li><p>Responsible for procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.</p></li>\n <li><p>Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specification, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.</p></li>\n <li><p>Individual will consult with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints and grievances within the work force.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prepares or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports and/or direction from MEP Project Manager.</p></li>\n <li><p>Establish and maintain high safety and quality standards in accordance to company, industry standard, and job specifications. </p></li>\n <li><p>Will insure the company QMS program is used and maintained in accordance to company standards.  Individual will be able to generate reports and traceability for continuous improvement.</p></li>\n <li><p>Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.</p></li>\n <li><p>Other duties may be assigned.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2> Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Who We Want</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school AND a minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience OR a minimum 15 years related construction experience with increasing responsibility in lieu of a degree.</li>\n <li>Experience within the light/heavy industrial sector highly desired.</li>\n <li>Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal/contract documents.</li>\n <li>Strong people management skills.</li>\n <li>Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), tablets and smartphones.</li>\n <li>MS project and other scheduling software a plus.</li>\n <li>Must possess a strong work ethic and be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development.</li>\n <li>Must posses the ability to think for his/herself and be able to manage without direction having to be given.</li>\n <li><strong>Visa Sponsorship: </strong>This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>This position requires travel as our projects are scattered throughout the United States and, in some cases outside of the U.S..
