    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Advanced Technologies & Laboratories International, Inc. (ATL) is hiring a Senior Engineer/Scientist – (statistician- NFR) with a PhD or ScD in statistics and experience with occupational safety & health research, including statistical/coding and database software such as SAS, R, Python, MS SQL or Dataverse. </p>\n<h2>Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide expert methodological and epidemiological advice on data analysis and serve as the primary data science resource among those individuals provided by the contract.</li>\n <li>Provide assistance in developing job exposure matrices which takes into account uncertainty from expert assessments.</li>\n <li>Identifies appropriate analytical methods or statistical programs to address study objectives.</li>\n <li>Verifies, cleans, edits, and converts data to the proper format, as needed, to ensure that it is suitable for proposed analysis.</li>\n <li>Provides statistical programming to achieve statistical objectives or required data manipulation</li>\n <li>Constructs statistical models and graphics, and uses statistical methods/techniques, as needed, to evaluate study hypotheses.</li>\n <li>Prepares rigorous, statistically sound analyses for manuscripts intended for publication in peer-reviewed journals or CDC publications that rarely require further validation.</li>\n <li>Manuscript preparation in collaboration with NIOSH scientists.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>PhD or ScD</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Technical/Business Tools Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) </li>\n <li>Communication tools (Teams, SharePoint)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<p>PSI offers full-time, benefits eligible employees a competitive total compensation package that includes paid leave, and options for employer sponsored group medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D coverage, legal services, identity theft, and accident insurance.
